The last bits of winter

I know, I know... Apologies for another round of silence. I never got the chance to update this blog recently although I have been around - well, sort of. Down with heavy cold for two weeks, I didn't have the energy, the mind and the soul in place to write what I would've written two weeks ago. My body basically gave up functioning (...ok, maybe a little dramatic but you get the idea). Now that I'm back though...

On behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support I'd like to thank individuals who have sponsored me for the -real Berlin Marathon. As we speak, we have over 30% raised for the charity and six months to go before the big run. Now that I have fully recovered and the sun is shining like how it has always been in the glorious Aberdeen in the spring, I am back at training after as well as having to give it up for two weeks due to reasons mentioned earlier. The little crocuses are out and River Dee is screaming for me to run along it. Flooooooow... flowwww..., it says. Get it? :-P.

I am now up for another photography assignment. The greyness of winter hue is now gone and people are out on the streets with bright colour clothes, although I have yet to feel the courage to do street shooting in Aberdeen, but I shall leave that for some other time. I do plan to go to small towns around Britain every few weekends and meet the locals even go to some corners for some sceneric photography and rekindle with midges on the west coast. If the results are somewhat satisfactory, I could actually make good prints out otherwise, I'm happy to be enjoying a random adventure on this foreign yet familiar land.
